This Vegetarian White Radish, Kelp, and Corn Soup is a nourishing and flavorful dish that combines the natural sweetness of corn and candied dates with the earthy richness of white radish and kelp. Ingredients

  • Big white radish - rinse, peel and roll-cut the radish. 白蘿蔔 洗净去皮,滚刀切塊 1 pc
  • Corn - rinse and cut into chunks. 玉蜀黍 洗净,切段 1 pc
  • Dried kelp - soak in water, rinse and tear into smaller pieces. 海带 把它浸软,洗净,撕成小片 2 pcs
  • Ginger rinse, peel and slice it 姜 洗净去皮,切片 1 pc
  • White pepper - rinse, smash it and pack it into a small teabag 白胡椒粒 洗净,敲粹装入小茶袋
  • Veg mutton - each cut into half 素羊肉 每粒切半 10 pcs
  • Candied dates 蜜棗 2 pcs
  • A pot of water 水 一大半鍋
  • Coriander chopped 香菜1札

Seasonings

  • Salt 鹽 1 tsp
  • Vegetable stock 美極齋湯、蘑菇精 2 tbsp
  • Light soy sauce 醬清 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil water in the pot
  2. Add in candied dates, crushed white pepper, ginger slices and cook using medium heat for ~15min
  3. Then, add in corn, white radish and kelp and continue cooking for another 30min.
  4. Add in veg mutton and cook for another 30min
  5. Switch to low heat, add in the seasonings and cook for another 15min.
  6. If the flavour is to your liking, the soup is ready to be served.
  1. 用一个鍋装半鍋水
  2. 水滚後加入蜜棗,胡椒粒粹,姜片,用中火把它煮大概15分鐘
  3. 加入玉蜀黍,白蘿蔔,海带
  4. 煮了30分钟
  5. 加上素羊肉,再煮30分鐘
  6. 調味
  7. 再開小火煮15分鐘,試味,味道可以就可以關火,盛上碗享用了。
